I wanted to try out your game but it's been crashing itself despite newer updates from here, when can I get a stable version of the current update so I can play this game
Hi the issue with the crash when starting the game is related to either drivers or a very specific godot issue (most likely this one) with some hardware (some nvidia cards). Since I can't replicate the error it's a bit hard to do something about it rn
If you wanna help: If you tried the 0.5.2d there should be a godot.log file in the path: C:\Users\[your user]\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\townscharm\logs
If you can share that file (and your hardware info) it’d really helpful!
Could be that my laptop is ancient as hell to not have any compatibility considering I see the game is running with Vulkan, so I guess I need an upgrade
Hello, it seems godot doesn't fallback to opengl when d3d12 fails. I've added a compatibility version that should skip to opengl (which should work fine with your hardware in theory)so it'd be great if you could try it out and report if works or not. Ty!
Finished 0.4 version and loved it. The texting and sexy photos mechanic adds so much to the gameplay and tension, I hope to see more of that used for other characters as well.
There's no official (by me) android version at the moment but I think I saw an apk around somewhere... I'll try making a build and see how it goes, but I probably won't be able to give it support
I've been trying to replicate the issue but everything seems to be working fine. Is it always like that, or does it happen after doing something in particular?
not sure does this game store it saves in another file like a renply game if so might have deleted that awhile clearing space but ive tried fresh installs but i open start game go though first bit save then but if exit to main menu i cant load that save and when closing the game the saves no longer eixsts in the game
Hmm, the save files are stored in a "DRSaves" folder inside your Documents. Tbh I have no idea what's happening here. If you don't mind, could you try the new file I just added and see if anything weird shows up in the .console when saving or loading?
okay it seems windows security wasn't allowing the game to create the save folder but it also wasn't notifying me until i used the devcon version so its working now so sorry for the hassle

I just get a black screen when trying to play
The .exe file doesn't work, it opens a invisible tab and closes again, my graphic cart is nvida geforce gt730

um saves dont seem to be working i cant load one and when i close and reopen the game all the saves i made are gone

i tryed deleting the godot save file and launching a fresh install still broken
edit would sending you the godot log or anything else help

how do i unlock jeannette? after the new Claire scene the relation resets so i maxed again and nothing happened
